ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

1. Purpose of the declaration

Gonzaga Campus is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities, in compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004, Legislative Decree 82/2022, and the WCAG 2.1 – Level AA technical standards, as referred to in the UNI EN 301 549 standard.
The site is institutional, educational, and informational in nature and includes editorial and multimedia content and interactive features (request forms, reservations, links to external services).

2. State of compliance

The website www.gonzagacampus.it is PARTIALLY COMPLIANT
to the accessibility requirements set by current legislation.

Partial compliance reflects the site's complexity, the presence of multimedia content and third-party components, as well as the need for gradual adaptation of some sections.

3. Content not fully accessible

3.1 Contents not compliant with the requirements

Some pages of the site may contain:

  • images with alternative text (alt) that is not always complete or descriptive;

  • graphic or textual elements with color contrast that is not fully compliant in all situations;

  • interactive components (menus, buttons, sliders, cards, forms) not always fully navigable from the keyboard;

  • semantic structure and hierarchy of titles could be improved on some pages with many sections;

  • attached documents or information materials not fully accessible.


3.2 Third-party content
The site integrates external services and content that are not under the direct control of the provider and which may present accessibility limitations, including:

  • maps and external location services;

  • external reporting platforms (e.g. whistleblowing);

  • links to third-party information resources (e.g. international programs);

  • components for booking or contact requests managed via the platform.

For such contents, compliance is declared limited to the parts of the site under its jurisdiction.

3.3 Disproportionate burden
Some historical or multimedia content published prior to regulatory compliance may not be immediately compliant, as full compliance would place a disproportionate burden on available resources.
This content will be progressively revised as the site is updated or restructured.

4. Evaluation method

The accessibility assessment was carried out through:

  • manual analyses on representative samples of the main sections of the site;

  • keyboard navigation tests;

  • semantic structure checks, alternative texts and contrast;

  • use of automatic tools to support accessibility analysis.

5. Improvement plan

Gonzaga Campus has initiated a continuous process of improving accessibility that includes:

  • progressive revision of the alternative texts of the images;

  • improved keyboard navigation and visible focus;

  • optimizing title hierarchy and page structure;

  • check the color contrast in the main contents;

  • Pay attention to accessibility requirements when publishing new content.
