Pre-School
International School Palermo's preschool is divided into Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Transition, and the primary language of instruction is English. Learning takes place in a playful environment, using a method based on inquiry and discovery.
We adopt an interdisciplinary and holistic approach, which accustoms children to a 360° view of the world, highlighting similarities and differences.

Primary School
Starting at age 5, Gonzaga International School Palermo students begin their journey in Primary School, which takes children from Grade 1 (ages 5) to Grade 6 (ages 11). Teaching and learning are based on the Program of Inquiry, which includes six Units of Inquiry.
Students are challenged through a series of questions inspired by fundamental, meaningful, important, and engaging learning challenges.

Diploma Programme
The Diploma Programme (DP) is universally recognized as an excellent program that provides access to all major universities in Italy and around the world. It is divided into two years (D1 to D2), for students aged 16 to 18.
Like all IB programs, the DP takes a holistic approach to students and their physical and mental well-being, aiming to develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand the complexity of the world and act responsibly for the future.
