The IB PYP at Our Pre-School
At ISP Pre-School, children aged 2 to 4 are introduced to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) — a curriculum framework designed to nurture curiosity, creativity and a love of learning from the very earliest years. Through play-based inquiry, our youngest learners explore six transdisciplinary themes that connect their classroom experiences to the world around them. The PYP encourages children to ask questions, share ideas and develop the social, emotional and cognitive foundations they need to thrive. Every unit of inquiry is carefully planned to meet the developmental needs of preschool-age children, ensuring that learning is joyful, meaningful and age-appropriate.
Transdisciplinary Themes

The Sections
Our Pre-School is organised into three progressive sections, each tailored to the developmental stage of the child.
Pre-Kindergarten
ISP Early Years provides a warm and inviting environment for our youngest students, starting at age two. The language of instruction is English, with a native English-speaking teacher and a bilingual teaching assistant, and classes are small enough to provide the best possible classroom experience for students. Our Pre-Kindergarten offers a good balance of a family atmosphere with a dynamic learning environment — a special place for your children.

Key Points of the Training Offer
Our Pre-School combines the warmth of a family atmosphere with an internationally recognised curriculum, native English instruction and an active, play-centred pedagogy.
A safe, familiar and stimulating environment
Small classes, welcoming spaces and a warm atmosphere ensure every child feels listened to, respected and supported. The environment offers emotional security and quality educational stimuli — ideal conditions for growing and learning with joy.
IB PYP program from Preschool onwards
From the age of 3, students follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The curriculum encourages independent inquiry, reflection and meaningful interaction with the world, promoting an open, international mindset.
Active pedagogy and learning through play
Play is the main engine of learning. Children explore, experiment and develop cognitive, relational and emotional skills in a dynamic environment designed to stimulate curiosity and the pleasure of discovery.
Learn English from the very first steps
From age two, children are immersed in an English-speaking environment with native teachers and bilingual assistants. Daily use of English promotes natural, fluent acquisition and lays a solid foundation for future language skills.
