The 2025/2026 season brings a significant new feature to our educational program for all members of Polisportiva Gonzaga: the introduction of the artistic discipline of dance class, a truly formative program.
With an eye always attentive to the integral growth of our students, the Sports Centre
Gonzaga di Palermo has chosen to entrust this new project to the expertise and proven experience of Teacher Alessandra Giurintano , a recognized professional, who joins our technical and educational staff with enthusiasm and passion.

Alessandra Giurintano was born in Palermo, where she began her studies with Maestro Roberto Zuccaro (Teatro Massimo in Palermo). At 18, she moved to Rome, where she began her career studying at Renato Greco's school with Victor Litvinov and taking daily advanced classes in classical, modern, and contemporary dance at IALS (Istituto Addestramento Lavoratori dello Spettacolo). After passing the entrance exam to the Cosi-Stefanescu Classical Ballet School, she moved to Reggio Emilia, studying with principal dancers Marinella Stefanescu and Liliana Cosi and participating in the company's productions. Upon returning to Palermo, she worked as a dancer in the ballet company of the Teatro Cristal in Palermo, participating in every production. During the same period, she furthered her studies with numerous international masters, including Stefan Banica and Alexandre Stephine. In 1995, she moved to Paris, where, in addition to furthering her studies, she danced and taught in classical and contemporary ballet companies. In September 1999, she returned to Palermo, taking over the management of her dance center, ARTE DANZA. During the 17 years of her dance school's activity, many students have achieved excellent professional success.
Dance, besides being a sublime and universal art form, is a complete activity that combines harmony, discipline, and freedom of expression . It not only strengthens the body by improving endurance, flexibility, and posture, but also promotes the development of psychological and emotional balance, contributing to the formation of a harmonious and self-aware personality.
Our goal is to offer students not only a solid technical preparation, but also an educational path capable of instilling profound values, fully in line with the Ignatian principles that have always inspired our mission at Gonzaga.
